The Operational and Military Honors Parade at Suparlan Field, Pusdiklatpassus Batujajar, West Bandung, on Sunday (10/8) was marked by a lighthearted moment as President Prabowo Subianto adjusted the berets of Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar and DPD Chairman Sultan Najamudin. This gesture brought smiles to the officials in attendance. Prabowo explained that the officials were wearing military fatigues to symbolize their commitment to defending the Indonesian nation. He emphasized the importance of defensive defense and reiterated that Indonesians would be ready to defend every inch of the country’s territory. During the ceremony, Prabowo conferred honorary ranks and medals to deserving recipients. The event also saw the inauguration of several new TNI units, with a total of 27,384 TNI personnel participating in the parade, supported by various tactical vehicles and defense assets. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming and other prominent figures were also present at the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of national defense and unity.
