Tears of Gratitude: SPPG Kitchen Chronicles

Aslina was overwhelmed with emotion as she stood in the Nutritional Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) in Cempedak Lobang, Serdang Bedagai. Her life had taken a positive turn, thanks to the program supported by the President. Alongside regional leaders, Aslina expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work near her home and contribute to preparing healthy meals for schoolchildren in the community.

Normawati, another beneficiary of the program, shared how the additional income from working at SPPG has supported her family. With a smile, she mentioned the positive impact it has had on her children, as they now receive nutritious meals daily through the program. Meanwhile, Shinta Ramadana, a young woman previously unemployed, found purpose in her work at SPPG, diligently assisting in food preparation tasks with enthusiasm.

These women are among the many individuals whose lives have been transformed by the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program. According to data from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), over 93,000 individuals have been employed through this initiative across numerous SPPG units nationwide. Beyond just providing meals, the MBG Program focuses on empowerment, turning kitchens into spaces of hope for those involved.
