Indonesia recently celebrated its 80th Independence Day with a flag-lowering ceremony held at Merdeka Palace, creating a solemn and patriotic atmosphere. Among the attendees was Titi Nurdianti, a resident of Jakarta originally hailing from Cilacap, Central Java. Titi shared her pride and deep emotions towards the historic event, recounting the challenges she faced in securing an official ticket for the ceremony. Having previously only witnessed the flag-lowering ceremony on television, Titi was thrilled to experience it in person on August 17, 2025. She chose to pay tribute to the occasion by adorning traditional attire from West Nusa Tenggara, wearing a stunning red outfit. The festive parade that followed the ceremony, leading towards the National Monument, added to the grandeur of this year’s Independence Day celebration and created lasting memories for Titi.
