President Prabowo Subianto attended the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology. The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) in collaboration with ITB, aimed to showcase innovations and promote research-based technologies.
During the convention, President Prabowo visited various exhibition booths, including the “Flagship Research Products” from Padjadjaran University, where innovations like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses were featured. After the exhibition tour, Prabowo delivered remarks at Sabuga Hall, expressing his appreciation to the organizers and attendees.
With the theme “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” KSTI 2025 aims to drive national economic transformation through research and technological innovation. The convention plays a crucial role in the government’s strategy to lay the foundation for Golden Indonesia 2045.
Moreover, KSTI 2025 includes exhibitions from key sectors such as energy, defense, digitalization, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing. This event serves as a platform to showcase cutting-edge technologies and promote collaboration among industry, academia, and government for the nation’s development.
