Prabowo Dines with Jokowi and Gibran: BAPPISUS Chief Joins

President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, and the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), were spotted enjoying a meal together at Bakmi Jowo Bu Citro 1 in Solo, Central Java on July 21, 2025. The two Presidents were seated at the same table, along with Vice President Gibran Rakabuming and the Head of the Agency for Development Control and Special Investigation (BAPPISUS), Aris Marsudiyanto. Prabowo and Jokowi were seen savoring bowls of noodle soup, accompanied by glasses of water and tea. Prior to the meal, Prabowo and Jokowi engaged in a brief conversation in a private setting. Alongside them, various ministers from the Red-and-White Cabinet, including Cabinet Secretary Lt. Col. Teddy Indra Wijaya, were also present. The presence of Aris Marsudiyanto, known for his background in the 81st Anti-Terror Detachment of Kopassus and his role in supporting Prabowo throughout the years, added an intriguing dynamic to the gathering. Aris’s loyalty and support for Prabowo have been consistent, as evidenced by his involvement in past election campaigns and his establishment of the National Movement for Love of Prabowo (GNCP) in 2019. His connection with Prabowo dates back to their time at the Military Academy in 1992 and continues to this day, with Aris also serving as the CEO of one of Prabowo’s companies. As the dinner unfolded, discussions and interactions provided insight into the unique relationships among these influential figures in Indonesian politics.
