President Prabowo Welcomed by Saudi Officials in Jeddah

President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, attended the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony before embarking on a state visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony took place at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta, where President Prabowo, dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, was bid farewell by high-ranking officials. Accompanying him were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other key figures from both Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.

Before boarding the presidential aircraft, President Prabowo watched military cadets rehearsing a marching band performance with Defense Minister Sjafrie. The purpose of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in relation to the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and exploring potential strategic partnerships. The visit aims to deepen the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of both nations.
