Pujian atas Skema Insentif di Era Prabowo untuk Guru PPPK

Agus Joyo Sutono, a contract-based government teacher at SD Dua Jati Kulon in Jati District, Kudus Regency, with more than twenty years of teaching experience, recently expressed his appreciation for the improvements in the distribution of the Teacher Professional Allowance (TPG) under the administration of President Prabowo Subianto. He highlighted that the disbursement of TPG has become quicker, more precise, and transparent, facilitating the receipt of allowances for teachers across Indonesia.

Teaching since 2003 and officially appointed as a PPPK teacher in 2023, Agus considers his professional journey as a pivotal moment for recognition and motivation to enhance his teaching quality. Although he has been receiving TPG since 2011, it was only this year that he noticed a significant enhancement in the distribution system. Agus praised the new mechanism of direct central transfers to teachers’ accounts for streamlining the process and increasing efficiency.

For Agus, the TPG represents not only a financial incentive but also a symbol of trust and state support for the teaching profession. He commended the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) and President Prabowo for the policy breakthrough that simplified the distribution process. Apart from supporting his family, Agus uses the TPG for his own educational advancement, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in primary school education.

In addition to personal use, Agus demonstrates solidarity by assisting non-civil servant teaching staff and contributing to school activities with a portion of his TPG allowance. He emphasizes the importance of making this new policy a long-term standard to enhance the welfare and professional work of dedicated teachers. Agus hopes that the TPG will continue to benefit teachers and contribute to building a better Indonesia.
